End of pretty little liars?

Ok so I know most of the story with how Alison's mentally unstable twin pretends to be her and she befriends the girls. What I want to know about the show is what do Jenna, Ian, Melissa, and toby have to do with it? And how does the series ultimately end? Do the police catch Ali or what? Do the girls ever find out what actually happened?
