Got my hair done at a salon but can't go back to get it done is using box dye ok?

I bleached my hair at a salon and it's been some time now and my roots have growin in quite a bit. And I was thinking of dying my hair brown but I can't go to the salon since I don't have the money for it and was wondering if buying box brown hair dye would mess up my hair since I got my hair bleached at the salon ?
